Soulful D’lites: Experience Authentic Soul Food in Philadelphia

This isn’t a sit down place it’s just for takeout. It took us an hour to get the food because they were backed up with Uber Eats orders but once we got it we raced home to tear it up. I have no pictures because it’s gone. The greens were my fav and I loved the rice as well that came with my salmon. Yams were to die for as well. The corn bread is very spongey like cake but we didn’t even know we were getting it so that was a nice surprise. We will be back this is definitely one of our new go to’s. You will also find no parking in this area. You’ll just have to pull over and put your four ways on. It’s right in the middle of a neighborhood so depending on the time parking will usually be slim.

I couldn't stop smacking my lips and licking my fingers Couldn't even eat the whole platter; so full:/ Everything was so delicious!!! The Mac & Cheese is so cheesy; the greens was on point; and those chops made me want to smack my mama:) Service was fast and friendly; and they accept debit cards. If your looking for some really good food; definitely try them out!!! You will not be disappointed:/

Everything got done pretty fast, it was a nice amount of oxtails for the price and they were tender. Everything was seasoned well. The only thing is the fish didn’t taste like it was fish batter it seemed like fried chicken batter but it was still really good.

The food here is fire. I don't know what these other people are saying, but I am HERE for these incredible portion sizes. I had almost three full meals from this large portion size. The food is seasoned perfectly and there is a very diverse menu conisidering how small the location is.

While visiting Philadelphia from Brooklyn, my family wanted to have a great meal we searched the net and soulful D’lites popped up we got there a half an hour before closing time and they were getting ready to shut down , but the gracious host still decided to let us place our order and the rest was history the food was delicious and worth the drive we will be back…

Best soul food spot around. Chicken wings & Mac n cheese always breathtaking. Comes wit cornbread too. What more could u ask for

From the customer service, to the cooks, to the food; everything is like a dream come true. The food tastes like Grandmothers and Mothers straight from Sunday dinner. I would give 10 stars if I could, the food is absolutely amazing. I look forward to being a regular here.

I ordered turkey wings plain and Mac w/ yams absolutely good and well seasoned. I am picky with soul food ! This is the bomb ! Great portions good cornbread turkey wings was season to perfection and tender . Got the mango tea wasn’t a fan of the juice but everything else was absolutely delicious!
